Poland almost universally uses the Polish programmers layout — plain QWERTY, with Polish diacritics produced by holding AltGr rather than by dedicated keys. It is the rare national layout that adds nothing to the physical board, which means Polish typists run English tests on exactly the same key positions as US typists.
With no layout differences to work around, improvement here comes down to the same fundamentals as anywhere: accuracy before speed. Poland also has a large developer population, and Programming mode is worth a run if that describes you — its vocabulary and symbol density are much closer to real working conditions than ordinary prose.
Country is detected from your browser's timezone and language settings rather than your IP address, so it reflects how your device is configured. You can set it explicitly on your account page if it has guessed wrong.
Physically, yes. It is standard QWERTY with Polish diacritics accessed via AltGr combinations, so no key positions are changed. English typing tests are completely unaffected, which is exactly why the layout became the national standard over the older QWERTZ-based alternative.
By words per minute, highest first, across every game mode and test length. It lists every game played rather than one row per player, so a player who has recorded several fast runs appears more than once. Narrow it with the mode, length and time-range controls above the table.
Just play. Every completed run is recorded automatically and your country is detected from your browser settings. Sign in first if you want your run to carry your username rather than appearing as anonymous.
Every mode ranks separately — scores are only comparable within one.
